• “Very cozy log cabin directly by the river. Good bath room, fireplace and all the amenities free to use. Jacuzzi was lovely as the weather was not so good at the time of stay. Wish we could have stayed a bit longer and enjoy this place. Owners are very friendly and helpful.”

• “I never write a review on Booking, but this is definitely worth writing about. The place was recommanded by my sister, who stayed here a couple of weeks earlier. The location is wonderful! The cabins are on the banks of the Rio Grande. A beautiful, quiet, spot. There is a hot tub, fireplace and seats on the banks of the river. We stayed in the Studio which was basically a house! It has a fully equipped kitchen (literally everything you need), a living room with comfortable sofa's, balcony with gas bbq and beautiful view. Very cosy. The only negative I can think of is that we had to leave... because we could easily stay a week here! Paula & Fritz (and your cute dog): many thanks! 1 night felt like a true holiday. ”

• “Hidden gem! We stayed in a very spacious and fully equipped cabin, a few steps from the river rio grande. Everything you need is there, including an outside fireplace on your own patio. I could have easily stayed a week but we had to travel further, unfortunately. Definitely a 10!”

• “Riverside Meadows Cabins is a property located in an accessible area near South Fork,CO on the Rio Grande river. The family owned operation insists on making the lodging experience exceptional for their clients. It’s peaceful, safe, and a good value. Our first experience was in the fall of 2020. We were so impressed we returned in January 2021. My wife and I are in the planning stages of building a cabin ourselves in the area, and it will continue to serve as a base for us. One example of the commitment to service to their lodgers is the snow removal from the parking spots to the staircase leading to our door. This stay was in the middle of a winter storm, and required a good deal of effort to make our comings and goings safe and possible. As was mentioned in an earlier review- we plan to make an effort to return in the near future.”

• “The cabins are right on the river. They were built by hand by the owner. The thoughtful attention to details on every aspect of the resort is exceptional. My wife and I felt safe and welcome. It’s sought after lodging, but we intend to make an effort for a return visit.”

• “The location was along the Rio Grande, which was lovely and relaxing. Fall colors were out. It was also very quiet, in an interesting neighborhood. Really nice shower/bathtub for soaking.”

• “Property is off the main road. The cabin is timber, scraped wood floors, leather club chairs and spacious bathroom. It has a small refrigerator and coffee pot and owners supplied the coffee and creamer. It also has a tv and a cast iron heater which we didn’t use. ”
