Really makes you feel you are up in in the mountains. Staff is super friendly and helpful and the breakfast is good. Sheets and towels have very good quality and the room is very clean! The fire is always on and makes the lounge a very pleasant area.”

We are from London, UK so had lots of questions about life in Mammoth and he was happy to stop and chat with us by the fire as he was leaving for the end of his shift. He was really knowledgeable about the area and was so pleasant to talk with. Brian was also great - offering to send us some items we had left behind at the lodge and also emailed us a photo of a bear which had been seen one morning during our stay which was very kind. There was a nice selection at breakfast, the rooms were clean and warm and we were able to use the pool and jacuzzi at the Mammoth Mountain Inn which was fantastic after a hard days hiking! The setting of this lodge is absolutely beautiful, right on Twin Lakes, with many accessible trails just a walk away. It was isolated enough to feel remote, but just a short drive away from town. We loved it here.”
